The FP7 wood softball bat is another solid choice for the female softball player used to the balance of a metal softball bat. For use in practice with her fast pitch team (high school on up), the FP7 helps develop plate discipline and helps strengthen muscles. For slow pitch softball wood bat play, the FP7 softball bat is an excellent choice for everyone on the team to use during games.
The FP7 handle transitions in to a flared knob. With such, its handle is just a tad thicker (1/32") than it's sister, the FP3. Softball players players who tape up the knob so they can't feel it, having their bottom hand flare out, will love the SB7F wood softball bat. With the same barrel as on the FP3, the FP7 tends to be slightly end weighted barrel, similar to the typical female's softball bat.
Want the closest feel to a traditional metal bat? Check out the FP3 wood softball bat. Like metal bats, it has a straight transition from handle to knob and a well defined knob to fully rest your hand on.
Looking for a more modern handle and knob (slight flare at handle end with a knob that will catch most of your bottom hand)? Check out the FP41 wood softball bat.
