About The New York Model Vintage Wood Bat:
In 1875 Ward Snyder produced a catalog of sporting goods and the New York Model was his top bat. Not a lot of handle, not a lot of barrel, but a whole lot in between; its barrel doesn't stay at max diameter long, but stays thick from there to the knob.

- Ballist wants maximum bat speed for more backside hits
- Player that doesnt want a big difference between barrel and handle.
