About The SB4 Wood Softball Bat:

The SB4 is well balanced, making it a very versatile bat Handle has a gentle flare in to a traditional knob.

All Phoenix Bats wood softball bats meet ASA standards for wood softball bats (see Rule 3), with a max 2-1/4” barrel diameter. To keep the umpire happy, we mark them with “Official Softball” and "ASA Compliant".

  • Softball player new to wood bat softball.
  • Gap hitter knocking extra bases & more
  • Player wanting more pop but not the weight of a power hitter's bat.

SB4 Wood Softball Bat Stats:

  • Barrel: 2-1/4" slightly end weighted barrel
  • Handle: 1" thick handle
  • Knob: 1" standard handle with gentle flare into traditional knob
  • Weight: -4 drop (length - 4 = weight)

    Beautiful bat! Exactly what I expected. Superior craftsmanship. This is my second bat from Phoenix and I couldn’t be more pleased. A teammate of mine bought one earlier this month, as well. We‘ll have (3) total in our dugout this upcoming season!

    Was really happy with the quality when I first got the bat. Swung it for the first time yesterday and the bat felt amazing. Really great wood bat for softball no matter what your hitting style is in my opinion.

    This is an awesome bat. Plenty of pop, especially for an ASA certified bat. The finish quality is incredible. Beautiful paint and color and quality craftsmanship. Most importantly for me was the responsive, personalized and direct customer service. I would absolutely recommend a Phoenix bat to anyone looking to purchase a softball bat for their ASA softball league.

    Got his for my 60th birthday, and WOW, what a great change from the "ting" of my aluminum bats. I grew up using wood, as it was pretty much the ONLY option. Exactly as ordered, down to the custom engraving. The light weight of the bat equates to a bit more bat speed, but the sweet spot is a bit less than what I'm used to, so practice is indicated. Overall, a very good choice. My second purchase is now in production, and we'll see how that works out, but I was willing to place the second order... which means that I am satisfied with the quality of PhoenixBats.
