KG8 Wood Baseball Bat Description

This wood bat is just flat out big all-around! The KG8 Professional Series wood baseball bat not only features a big barrel, very similar to that on the V243 and it’s no knob brother the NK43, but it has a big ‘ole large flare from the handle in to an oversized knob.  Think of it as the unruly big brother to our H73 wood bat (which has a smaller barrel).

The KG8 is a perfect choice if you like to wrap your hand, way down in to your palm, around your wood bat. So, baseball masher, throw away the rolls of tape to create the mountainous flare in the handle, and go with the KG8 for your home run crushing wood baseball bat.

Remember, if you tend to get jammed, go with a maple bat. If you tend to take balls off the barrel end, consider an ash bat. Hit the sweet spot consistently? Then go with the maple bat and take the extra distance it delivers. We figure on average the advantage is 10-15 feet with a maple bat versus an ash bat.
