NK43 Wood Baseball Bat Description

Another in our line of big hitter wood bats, the NK43 Professional Series wood baseball bat is very similar to the V243, actually sharing the same barrel dimensions (big!). But this bat model comes with one big difference - the knob: there is none! The handle flares out and that’s where it ends.

How can a power hitter use this wood bat without tossing it in to the stands (envision the baseball movie “Major League”)? Well, we find that Jake Fox, the young hitting phenom on the south side of Chicago does alright with this kind of knob (he uses a custom model Phoenix Bat with a knobless handle, albeit a +1!).

15/16" handle
-2 in maple and -3 in ash

Typical user:

Power hitter who wants an end-loaded bat but no knob  

Remember, if you tend to get jammed, go with a maple bat. If you tend to take balls off the barrel end, consider an ash bat. Hit the sweet spot consistently? Then go with the maple bat and take the extra distance it delivers. We figure on average the difference is 10-15 feet between these two wood bats.
