R141 Wood Baseball Bat Description

Are you the type of wood bat player who can knock the baseball out of the park on occasion, but more often crushes line drives? Do you like a baseball bat that doesn’t have too much weight out in the barrel? If so, consider Phoenix Bats Professional Series R141 – our most versatile wood bat. It’s very evenly balanced throughout and is a great choice for the team during wood bat games. Known elsewhere as the T141, a maple, ash, or composite R141 bat helps delivers the gap shot that drives ‘em all in.

R141 wood bat stats:

Very slightly flared 15/16" handle
Medium sized 2-1/2" barrel
Evenly balanced throughout
-2.5 in maple
-3 in ash

Typical user:

3rd , 6-8th hitter in the line-up

A slap-it-in-the-gaps type or a power hitter looking for a less top heavy wood bat

Remember, if you tend to get jammed, go with a maple bat. If you tend to take balls off the barrel end, consider an ash bat. And if you tend to hit it all over the bat, go with our all wood composite bat for extra durability.  Want more distance? Both the maple bat and the composite bat give you a little more distance, typically 10-15 feet over an ash bat.

Not sure which bat to go with? Take the Phoenix Bat challenge: try a bat for 10 days and if you don’t like it send it back. More details here.
